Bio

I am a writer and photographer with a keen interest in mountains and outdoor spaces. For me the process is as much about the words as it is the photos. The two are integrally linked, as I seek to explore themes and ideas that interest me.

My current focus is the mountains of Japan, an area that might be overlooked by many in the west. They are wonderful places, maybe not as tall as the Alps, or as remote as the Rockies, but they offer innumerable trails, precipitous ridges, and beautiful landscape to explore and enjoy.
